FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

    • Do you allow outside food in your facility? No, Nibbles is a kid friendly restaurant. We ask that outside food is not brought into Nibbles, especially any items made with nuts/peanut butter. We do make exceptions for those with special dietary needs and babies. We ask that you do not bring in outside coffee drinks.
    • Do you offer options for children with allergies/vegetarians/vegans? We do work hard to have vegan/vegetarian items on our menu and to customize items as needed to meet special diets such as gluten-free and dairy-free diets. We maintain a file with ingredients for many of our food items so parents can look at these before ordering food. Please let our staff know if you have a special dietary need and they can suggest options.
    • How long can we stay at Nibbles? We do not have a time limit when you pay an admission at Nibbles. You may leave and come back in the same day without paying again. On average most children play happily in our play places for 1 ½ to 2 hours when visiting Nibbles.
    • Where are the toys my child played with last month? Just like many families do at home, we rotate our toys to create more interest for children who come on a frequent basis. If you child is asking where the “babies” are or where the “vacuum cleaner” is because it’s their favorite toy – just ask a staff member. More toys are in our closets and we are happy to share.
    • Where are the arts and crafts? We keep our arts and craft supplies behind the counter and are happy to give these items to parents. We ask that parents closely supervise their children when using arts/crafts and to return these to us when finished. Arts/craft supplies can be a danger to young toddlers and babies who put everything in their mouths and we need parents help to make sure all of the children are safe.
    • How do you clean your toys? We wipe down our play areas at least once a day with a sanitizing cleaner that is safe to ingest. Our toys and costumes are on a rotating schedule for deeper cleaning at least 2 times per week – which occasionally means they are missing from the floor. We ask parents to give staff toys that have been mouthed by their children so we can clean those items immediately. We have hand sanitizer available in a several places for your use (but these are not at “child” level – parents need to assist children using the sanitzers).
    • Do we need socks? Nibbles does not have any climbing equipment and we do not ask that shoes be removed for most of our areas – we encourage children to keep their shoes on because they will walk from the play areas to the tables frequently and the chances of stepping in macaroni during lunch rush is high! We do ask that shoes be removed in the baby area.
    • Do you have a “baby room”? We do have a baby room with a gate. For some reason, older children love this room and they will sometimes come in to play. It is our rule that babies have priority – if an older child is playing in the room and you want your baby to have access – just let a staff member know and we will get the older kids out and wipe the room down for your baby.
    • Do you have a nursing area? We do not have an area specifically designated for nursing and we hope that all moms feel comfortable nursing anywhere at Nibbles. We are strong advocates of the right to breast-feed in public. We recognize that some women prefer privacy and have a chair in our girl’s bathroom for that purpose.

  •  Do you offer group discounts? We provide a 10% discount for meetups, playdates, play groups, parents clubs, church groups and others, if we are contacted one week prior to the date of the event to make a reservation and if there is 5 or more adults in the group.
  • We would like to have our birthday party at Nibbles but do not want to do a kids birthday party package. Can we just come in? We are happy to reserve an adult table for a small group who is gathering for an informal birthday celebration.  Our usual policy is that we do not reserve our children's tables at anytime, except for those purchasing birthday party packages. You are welcome to come have your birthday party lunch at Nibbles, and run a tab for your guests.  We do have a .50 cake plating fee for any cake brought into our facility.  As a courtesy to other families we would ask that you limit party decorations to a minimum.  Please make a reservation in advance so we can better meet your group's needs for your child's birthday party.
