Welcome to Nibbles' Play Cafe, where parents come to relax while their kids play.

My name is Kathleen Weinberg. I am the founder of Nibbles' and mother of two. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the last decade. Prior to making the choice to be a stay-at-home mom, I worked in a career as a social worker and administrator in programs serving children with special needs. I found making the transition to being a stay-at-home parent a little tough. I felt very disconnected and a little lost. When I began thinking about returning to work, I decided that I wanted to create a place where parents could come with their children to relax and connect with other adults while knowing their children were active in a "healthy" setting. Nibbles took more than 5 years to plan and develop and then it took a lot of "tweaking" to get things running smoothly. But now Nibbles is what I had hoped it would be - a place where parents can come and relax, chat with other adults, find a few minutes of peace while their kids are busy in appropriate play. Nibbles is a great environment for all those times when children and adults come together for life cycle celebrations like first birthdays, baby showers, christenings and family reunions. Nibbles staff love getting to know our guests and their children - we're always available to lend a hand or a little advice, or just be another grown up offering support. I love to think of Nibbles as a little community center for families with young children. Come visit us - we'd love to get to know you!
